Cliq Chair Review

If you’re looking for the best chair or chairs for Overlanding or camping, then you’ve come to the right place. With about 4 years of experience in Overlandin at the time of publishing this article, I’ve used a lot of camping chairs in my travels. There are tons of options in this segment and prices can vary greatly as can quality. If you want to know more about the options for the best Overlanding/camping chair, read on!

In this article (and the below video), I’m talking about my Cliq chair and how it compares to some other comparable chairs like the Helinox, Marchway, and G4FREE chairs as well as my much larger Coleman Directors Chair.

Overall, I really like the Cliq chair. It’s small footprint combined with ease of setup and tear down makes it a great option in a number of different situations. For things like kids sporting events, family get togethers, and camping trips, it’s great.

Also, the quality of the materials used are really impressive and it feels really solid. One small bauble that I’ve noticed is that at some point, one of the tiny screws that holds the legs together worked its way out. Not a huge deal breaker, but if I lose a few more, the chair may no longer function.

As far as comfort goes, it’s a really comfortable chair too. The only thing it’s lacking a bit is a taller back (which is a result of the design of course) so for longer trips like when I’m Overlanding for long periods of time, I sometimes lean towards my G4FREE tall back chair even though it takes a bit more work to set up because for more time spent sitting, it’s a bit more comfortable.

Overall though, this chair is a great all around performer and works well in most situations. Watch the video below to see it in action and to see some size comparisons between it and the options mentioned above.
