When I first saw this product, I felt like I must surely be the only person who wasn’t aware that this modification for your Viair 88P (or almost all types of portable or onboard air solutions for Overlanding or offroading) existed. However, once I shared this in a few Facebook groups related to Overlanding, I found out that there were quite a few people that it helped that hadn’t heard of it, so I figured I’d put together a quick article here and also link it to the video I made explaining the quick release air chuck and how it could make airing up your tires so much quicker and easier.
Basically, this is a really inexpensive modification that you can just screw into the stock end of your air hose coming out of your portable compressor. The quick release chuck simplifies the process of hooking the air hose both on and off of the valve stem when you’re putting air in your tires.
Again, there is a lot of information in the video so make sure to check that out if you want to see how easy it is to install and how it works. Thanks for reading!
