Lifedoo Fire Pit Review

Lifedoo stainless steel portable fire pit

I’ve had several different types and brands of fire pits at this point and I’m becoming a bigger and bigger fan of them all the time. I love being able to setup my fire regardless of where I am in a dispersed site as it gives me flexbility versus being limited to the existing fire ring. I also like that they have less impact on the environment, burn cleaner and hotter, and generally have less smoke than a traditional ground fire.

So, when I got my Lifedoo fire pit, I was super excited to try it out. This fire pit is one that you basically assemble using slots and tabs. It’s pretty easy to put together once you get one side put together in the ends. It includes an ash collecting tray which is a nice feature as well. It gets good air flow and is a good size.

Several fire pits I’ve had in the past are smaller than this one and it made it hard to have a very large fire if you could only use small sticks and branches rather than logs. This pit is large enough for a more traditional size campfire, which is a plus.

It’s made of stainless steel and coated in some sort of black coating. I will say that when I burned my first fire in it, that coating flaked off in the middle where the bulk of the heat was. The manufacturer said that they were working to address the issue, but it wouldn’t affect the operation of the fire pit. Aside from that slight aesthetic issue, the fire pit worked fine.

For more info and to see it in action, I put together a video which you can check out below.
